I was born and raised in a small city called the Dalles, near Portland in Oregon, a state in the northwest of the United States. Being from somewhere so small made me appreciate the little things. I became a first generation Korean American when my family moved there from Korea. The “pacific northwest,” as we call it, is part of who I am. You might know it as the hipster capital of the world, but to me it’s a place of endless outdoor adventures and activities. My friends and I go camping, hiking, or climbing nearly every weekend.

Outdoor climbing, lead climbing, ice climbing basically I like to climb.
Enjoy taking new ways of transportation, but no bikes (I have no coordination on those).
Anything that involves going outside, rain or shine.
Museums tours and events, art shows
Going to see local musicians, comedians in clubs downtown
Books (I organize a girls book club in Portland)
Can’t forget food, especially ice cream, as my photos show.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I cherish the moments spent showing people the places I visit when I want to have fun, let loose, or find something to eat. I love sharing my life with others and letting other people accept me into their lives. I am always humbled that we live in such a diverse world. The chance to connect and learn from others is something I always try my best to do. Meeting new people that have similar and different interests to learn from is what makes society unique and relatable. I hope that with my first couch surfing experience I can share a part of my life.
