About Me
I'm just starting to catch the wanderlust bug. I'm excited to see new places, mostly to see what different city cultures are like. What does it mean for such a large group of people to have a culture? I want to see what different places are like.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to go places, but I want a warm place to sleep at the end of the day, because that's such a good feeling after long days of adventuring.
I also really like meeting new people! It's so interesting to get just a taste of a person by hanging out for a few minutes or hours or days.
Interests
Science is awesome.
I really like biking! I wish I could have my bike with me any city I went to but that's not so easy.
I love singing; I've sung in choir all my life, ever since a few Sacred Harp experiences as a kid stole my heart.
I am into juggling devilsticks, although I'm not a pro yet.
I like puzzles.

Music, Movies, and Books
Podcasts: I love Hello Internet and 99% Invisible. Close second goes to Dear John and Hank. Also super enjoy The Moth and Radiolab.
YouTube: Vlogbrothers, CGP Grey, Wheezy Waiter are my top picks.
Music: rock, punk, indie, post-rock, I love experiencing new/weird stuff.
Movies: The Princess Bride is the best movie of all time. The Blues Brothers, Lord of the Rings, The Avengers. I refuse to ever watch The Room again but it was worth doing once. Maybe.
Books: I wish I read more; I'm generally into nonfiction and fantasy. Current book is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (which I've been meaning to read for a really long time, I'm excited to see if it lives up to the hype).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've sung in a joint choir of 30,000 to an audience of 80,000 at Laulupidu, the Estonian Song Festival.
