I spent my childhood in Singapore

Then lived and studied Australia during my late teens till my mid-20s

Moved back to Singapore to set up home, career and family till my 40s.

4 years ago I moved to Lapland, Finland and have made it my new home base.

Now I am globe-trotting for a few years. I shift from season to season depending on the country's Visa restrictions and length of stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people and being immersed in local life.

I am not a tourist but traveler. My goal is to discover and not have a new peoples / culture packaged and shoveled on me by a tour guide or guide book - so not in my DNA.

I love wandering the neighborhoods, I am residing in, to develop my own sense of a place, before I lean on locals for further information, suggestions and advice.

To expand on my philosophy and practice to travel, I'll share this item from my bucket list:
I have 1-year Visitors visa if I visit Georgia, so not only would I like to max out that visa opportunity traveling the country, I would want to settle into a few locations in Georgia and circle these few so I can experience the changing seasons.
