ABOUT ME

I am originally from the Netherlands, but currently in England doing a (hopefully) 3 year PhD. I consider myself kind, clever and witty, and so do my friends (or at least that's what they tell me..) I'm an active person who enjoys walks, runs, long (nightly) bike rides, and just generally seeing where my feet take me. When I can't go out doing any of those things I like to hang out with friends, go to the cinema, draw, read books, or play my guitar (although i'm a bit out of practise at the moment). I would like to see so much more of the world and meet cool new people and I think this is a great way to start.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I'm in Cambridge I would like to meet people to hang out with, go for a drink or a coffee, or whatever else there is to do here - i'm up for almost everything! And meeting people on my travels would be great too!

I am new to CouchSurfing so hope to have my first experience soon!

At the moment I am totally fascinated by my PhD: how to get people to do more crafty things with their digital media, and I actually get to design cool stuff for that!
I further love it when people surprise me by telling me something unexpected or doing something unexpected that i never would have guessed. And I love it to just randomly go out on a free day, go for a walk to see new places and new things, get lost and find even more cool places because of that.
