Hello, my name is Connie and I am 23 years old. I was born in Chicago, USA but my parents are from China so I am Chinese American. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Design. After I graduated, I realized that I wanted to travel abroad and explore the world so I packed up my things. I moved to Prague, Czech Republic where I trained to be an English teacher and then taught there for a year. After exploring most of Europe, I decided it was time to move to Asia and experience something new. Now, I am currently living and working in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I am teaching English and working with kids and adults.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My passion is traveling, which is the reason why I moved to Taiwan because I have always dreamt of exploring Southeast Asia. I hope to learn more and have authentic experiences through Couchsurfing. I am an outgoing, friendly, and social person and I love meeting new people. It excites me to chat with new people and learn more about their culture.
