About Me

ABOUT ME

They would say I've experienced a lot of the world and am always on the go, ready to give a helping hand. Good sense of humor. Intelligent and old enough to be opinionated, easy to hang out with.

Interests

Although I love place, its the people that make the memories. I don't like visiting any locale and going on "tours"; I'd be likely to see people I know there. I prefer side streets, restaurants that locals hang out with. I still work, so that keeps me busy when I am at home. I travel about 8 times or more a year, typically for about 10 days at a time. I enjoy water sports, snow skiing, golf, am an avid reader. And I actually like being alone some times. For the most part, I avoid big crowds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in my late teens, my friends and I used to take small rafts and find big waterfalls, head to the top and over the top. No helmets, no lifejackets -- looking back kind of a rush. The Olympics, watching the dream team beat the Russians live. Skiing the powder in Wyoming Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee 30 years ago, more than 2 feet of fresh powder every day....never experience so many consecutive days of over the top skiing since. Sitting on the back of a 40 foot catamaran that I used to have in the Bahamas outer islands, day after day anchored in small coves, no people, the entire ocean was my backyard. But the best was holding my son for the first time and watching him grow up.
