Overview
About Me
I grew up in the American South in Atlanta. My city has good mix of city, outdoors, and southern charm, and everyone should visit. I lived in the same house my entire life, which is only a few miles from where I was born, but traveling drew me. Stories of adventures from others inspired some idealist traveler inside of me.
In late May, I graduated from United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. Before I go off to helicopter flight school, I want to experience traveling at a fundamental level. Serving in the Army will bring a significant responsibility, and I hope this travel will give me a chance to explore before I start.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am traveling around Europe this summer. No set plans. Just want to go and experience. I want to meet new people and see the things that are not on bus tours. Locals are the best for this, and I think couchsurfing could help me meet some.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Alternative, folk, almost anything but pop country (I get enough of that at home)
Movies: Big movie fan. My friends make fun of me as a cinema connoisseur, but I'm also a huge Star Wars nerd. The Empire did nothing wrong.
Book: The Hobbit, any fantasy really. I also enjoy reading "academic" economics books. I'm kind of a nerd like that.
