About Me

Without droning on too much! I think the most fundamental aspects of my character can be boiled down to a few descriptive words, most of which are acknowledged contradictions/juxtapositions:

Chill
Passionate
Voracious (in many areas, most notably in anything intellectual and, of course; good food)
Unorthodox
Sometimes funny and silly
Sometimes serious and thoughtful
Genuine
Compassionate
Introverted
Adventurous

Fun facts about me: I am 20 years old, a proud yet not overbearing Vegan, an atheist, a lover of art in its many forms, especially Surrealist paintings, poetry, and literature. I love to write, (which is good, considering it's my vocation!) I am utterly fascinated with the cultures of our awe-inspiring world and want to experience the majority of them (cannibalistic cultures from afar).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been living with my oh-so-supportive mother, (primarily), throughout the entirety of my life. I've recently turned 20 and have felt cramped for the majority of those 20 years. Not much has changed since the womb days. The few adventures I've had include a ten-day missions trip to Romania (when I was a Christian) and travelling to Montreal and Utah with my dear dad. Once I heard about Couchsurfing, after surmounting my initial suspicions (I admittedly felt it was too good to be true), I knew it was the perfect opportunity for me. I have wanderlust, the blood of an adventurer, and I need to spread my wings! I see Couchsurfing as an updraft beneath my freshly spread wings, and I'm thankful for it and excited to meet the awesome people who inhabit it!

Cheers! 8)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Earning my black belt in Taekwondo was pretty neat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very open to learning new things and sharing what I'm interested in!

Did you know that your Brain is composed of two separate hemispheres? The right controls the left and the left controls the right. They're connected by a wire of nerves called the "Corpus Callosum". When this is cut (often out of necessity to reduce seizures in epileptics), the brain exhibits two distinct entities with different desires and tastes, one often disagreeing with the other... gotta love mind-blowing facts. This is the type of information I love to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Firstly: A smile.
Secondly: Potentially stimulating conversations.
Thirdly (and more practically); someone who is grateful and therefore more than happy to clean up around the place and run some errands (i.e., being a contributive guest).
