Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The usual reasons--cheap travel and cultural exchange. When i visit places I don't want to do the normal tourist things. I love to immerse myself in places for more than a few days--it takes time to truly begin to understand a new place. Part of that is the people and how they live; Couchsurfing offers that unique opportunity to get to know the people and culture on a more intimate level.
