Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I wanted to set up a couch surfing account whilst I am in the Netherlands to allow people to come and visit the beautiful and historically rich city of Nijmegen and experience what I have experienced of the Netherlands so far. I would also like to take the opportunity to travel to other places using couchsurfing, to meet new people and create new experiences as I am very fond of travelling.

Intereses

I am interested in all things out doors; camping, hiking, cycling etc. I also enjoy going to the cinema and watching and playing sports such as rugby and football.

Música, películas y libros

I like a wide range of music some of my favorite artists include Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, Parliament Funkadelic, David Bowie and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I love films outright and enjoy going to the cinema to see new films. My favorite films are the Shining, Apocalypse Now, One flew over the Cuckoos Nest, Lord Of the Rings and Forrest Gump. I particularly enjoy Sci Fi and anything directed by Kubrick or Tarantino. As for books I enjoy modern classics, particularly books set in the 20th century. Some of my favorites include Catcher in the Rye, Bonfire of the Vanities, Metamorphosis, Brave New World and 1984.

Volunteer abroad in Ecuador, where I was able to travel around, experience the rich and diverse cultures and landscapes and meet indigenous peoples.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Although space is limited, my flat is full of interesting and kind people. We have 16 people, from 12 different countries all around the world. The atmosphere is very welcoming and we exchange our cultures by cooking, eating and hanging out together on a regular basis. The location is easily accessible by bus and train and is particularly excellent if you use a bike to explore Nijmegen and the surrounding areas, you can even cycle to Germany in under 30 minutes!
