Hello! Here is an autobiographical piece I wrote recently for my fellowship program:

"Connor Morency is an aspiring aerospace engineer with a love of outer space and a thirst for knowledge. Last May, he graduated from Vanderbilt University with his Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, earning Magna Cum Laude honors. During his time at Vanderbilt, Connor served as the treasurer and simulations lead for the Vanderbilt Aerospace Design Laboratory (VADL). This team won the annual NASA student launch competition in both 2018 and 2019. Additionally, Connor was the Head Resident for the residential community Warren College, and also worked for a summer at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center as a Space Camp crew trainer.

Currently conducting research at the International Center for Theoretical Sciences in Bengaluru, India, Connor is developing a monsoon cloud model that will help inform and predict rainfall patterns. He will begin his PhD program in fluid dynamics at the University of Colorado Boulder next fall. Day to day, Connor uses his values of community and citizenship to guide his personal and professional interests. He hopes his contributions to science and society on earth will one day enable him to work in outer space as an astronaut. In his free time, Connor likes to play guitar and go Latin dancing."

After traveling extensively over the past 8 months, I booked tickets to the Maldives only to find how expensive staying there would be. I essentially just created this profile for this trip, hoping to make my stay there more affordable. I would be eternally grateful if you could host me!
