About Me

Bio in progress…

Residing on the coast, I naturally went to the beach quite often and took up surfing (I love surfing to this day, although I'm still not very good at it😅). I also did a lot of snowboarding in the winter and skateboarding year round. I've always been really into board sports. I also did gymnastics five days a week as a youngster, and I received many ribbons during my competitions (unfortunately medals are reserved for the olympians). I think the trend of exercise carried over into my personality because I love working out and go to the gym almost every day. Hiking is one of my absolute favorite things to do! I love being out in the wilderness and will happily complete a hike that most people would consider a lengthy car ride.
Basically, I've always loved being active and doing pretty much anything wild and venturesome. I will never shy away from a perilous adventure and have always been one to "take the road less traveled."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently decided to take a six-month backpacking trip through Europe. I've always wanted to spend a long period of time traveling the world, but I figured that was a fairy tale dream reserved only for the rich and careless.
Only a couple months ago did I realize that anybody could afford to travel if you really want to!
So I've moved out of my apartment and sold my car to spend six months traveling the world (or some of it at least)!
I don't mind at all staying on strangers' couches, sleeping on hostels, hitch hiking, working odd jobs along the way, or even sleeping outside occasionally.

It's wonderful to meet local people around the world and learn about different cultures; seeing the world from another's perspective is always good for you.

I crave adventure and am looking forward to meeting all sorts of different types of people and discovering cultures that I would have never experienced in my own country!

Music, Movies, and Books

-I will listen to pretty much any music besides trap and really heavy EDM. I like certain kinds of mellow EDM music, but if it sounds like robots having sex, then it's not for me.

-Comedies are the best movies for sure.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am making this trip on a budget, and may not have much money along the way, but I can hopefully repay you with amazing stories of my travels and kindness that would make you happy to have had me in your home. I would hope to meet as a couch surfer, and leave as a friend.
