Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love this website for the ability to be able to stay with locals from different areas. While I think travel is great if you're just staying in a hotel, I think you really get to learn something more about the culture and the city you're in if you stay with someone who is actually part of it. Some of my favorite travel experiences have been made possible through hosts. I hope that soon I'll be in the position to also host guests!
