About Me

I grew up in North Carolina and went to school in New York, where I studied dance. I am currently living in Brooklyn, NY, pursuing a career as a professional dancer, but I also do the ny hustle (catering and babysitting) in order to make ends meet. My schedule is different all the time, which keeps things exciting and interesting. I love the city but I also love to get out of the city whenever possible. I enjoy taking class, reading, music, writing, good movies, baking, going dancing, and whenever I'm able to, traveling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said above, I love to travel! I am new to couch surfing, but I think the best way to travel is to meet and spend time with people who live in that place, and share good conversation. Since I am a dancer, dance is at the heart of most of the traveling I do. Because of this, I tend to meet mostly dancers. I am interested in broadening my circle of friends to include many different perspectives from many different types of people that I can learn from and share with!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Guatemala, in Cobán, I rode in the open back of a truck down through the mountains and into a valley to see Semuc Champey. The view was amazing!
