About Me

I'm a 22 year old recent graduate from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I'm a book lover, tech nerd, guitarist, and outdoorsmen. I also like to socialize and explore new environments. I love meeting new people, so don't be shy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe each person in the world offers a new insight on life itself. The opportunity to meet, greet, and explore other people's backgrounds is something we as humans can't take for granted. As a guest, I feel that one does not truly experience a country unless they do as the locals do. As a tourist, I feel that my experience is limited, to things that are predetermined. However, with a host, I can experience

Interests

I've grown up in a family that always embraces a new adventure. A trait that, thankfully, has rubbed off on me too. Whether it be traveling or going out for dinner, I have come to love embracing the unknown. At the same time, I thoroughly enjoy relaxing and hanging out with friends. I live with 5 awesome roommates in Santa Cruz which makes everyday extremely entertaining. I also listen to and play a lot of music. I hope one day to tour around the US with a couple great bandmates in an old van.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Israel my friends and I snuck into a Kaveret concert, which was this breakthrough 70s rockband, and were just feet away from the stage. Being in a foreign country in a culture I knew nothing about and seeing thousands of people going crazy for a band I'd never heard of was a pretty amazing experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe I have an interesting perspective on life, and am very receptive to alternative perspectives. I find different experiences refreshing and I feel this openness allows me to have meaningful conversations and connections with people.
