About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To climb on 6 continents. What the heck, make it all 7 of them.
ABOUT ME
My name is Connor, and I like the outdoors! It's been a lifelong dream of mine to travel and I cannot wait for my next adventure. I try to stay on the move, but I like having a homebase, so if you need a couch and I'm around, hit me up! I'm very outgoing, friendly, and fun to talk with.
PHILOSOPHY
At the end of the day, you are responsible for your own happiness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to provide hosts with a fun surfer who can keep lively conversation or keep quiet if needed =] I have been on a travel stint the last few years but I finally have a couch available in Portland!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed several times, all within the US. I just wish I traveled abroad more often! I have befriended one of my hosts whom I saw recently when he came to visit my city for work, it was great catching up! The past few years though I was not in a position to host others, but now I am proud to say I have began hosting in Portland, Oregon!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a movie fanatic. I have seen a ton. Only ones I'm not a particular fan of are old westerns.
I have not read much since school, if you don't count guidebooks. Latest books I've read though were 1984, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Music is something that I enjoy, but I don't spend my time looking up new artists and such. I usually leave it up to Songza or Pandora to make a great playlist. I also have several truly AWESOME friends who know my music tastes better than I do so they make me some pretty great mix CDs (yes, I still use and LOVE CDs)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was invited to volunteer at a climbing festival in Yangshuo, China. One of the most fun international experiences I've had so far!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn how to play the harmonica!
I can teach you everything you need to know about training for rock climbing or general fitness. I know a good deal about training, dieting, and proper health management. I don't have a degree, but I've done sports all my life and I've pieced together what works and what doesn't.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook!
