Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Keep making D.C. home. Work on those radio skillz.
ABOUT ME
Just wrapped up an extensive, long-term couch-residing phase, and happy to finally have a home.
Fill my time hustling to make a living as a temp. production assistant at NPR. It's not the most stable employment in the world, but I can't imagine doing anything else.
I fill the rest of my time doing my other favorite things: spending time with friends, cooking, learning, listening to music, reading, bantering, listening to and telling stories.
PHILOSOPHY
Life has meaning only in the extent to which it is given as a gift to others.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had a great experience Couch Surfing across Austria, and since then I've been singing the praises of the project to anyone who will listen.
Since I returned to my study abroad, I've been a bit of a slacker, and at the moment my couch has a permasurfer, but once it's free again, I plan on hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I studied abroad in Austria and Germany, I did a couple of long trips that involved extensive couchsurfing with friends made via couchsurfing.com and outside of it.
My most amazing experience was perhaps my first. Staying with the Meiers above their family owned bakery in a small town in Austria, and waking up to the smell of fresh bread and warm semmeln for breakfast.
Intereses
I like learning. I really like running, as a stress-relief, euphoria creating mechanism more than for physical fitness. Good food, good music, good friends.
And I'm in love with radio. As a medium for story-telling and sharing experiences, it can't be beat.

Pretty okay with anything that's not The Blindside.

Josh Ritter always knocks my socks off.
Books

Last really amazing book I read was Catch-22.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I'm a sucker for that mob mentality: watching a Jayhawk basketball game in Allen Fieldhouse at The University of Kansas still ranks as one of the most exciting experiences of my life.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I don't feel like I have a lot of marketable skills that don't involve structural mechanics.
I can teach you BRO-cabulary. And show you some good youtubez.
