One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One night some friends and I went camping in the Appalachian Mountains. In the middle of the night we decided to hike to the top of the mountain we were camping on. We hiked for a good hour or so before getting to the top. The sight was beautiful. We ended up sleeping on the mountain and woke up in time to see the sunrise. It was truly amazing.
Another night with a similar group of people, we hiked a mountain that was just 20 feet shorter than the tallest mountain East of the Mississippi. The hike was about 2 miles total (not too long) but we went up almost 3/4th of a mile in that 2 miles. This was my first hike where I hiked with all my camping gear. I was incredibly tired by the end of it. The end of the hike came out of nowhere. It was dense brush for what seemed like hours and then our of nowhere there was a clearing and I was on top of the world. AND I saw a bear for the first time on the hike down (it was running towards me!).
Teach, Learn, Share
I will probably always bring my guitar with me, if anybody wants to jam. I mostly only play alone- trying to break that habit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Free lemonade if you come to whichever event I'm at. Also possibly I can get it you in if it isn't free anyway. I can make a pretty good cup of coffee and I'm always down for intellectual discussions- or non-intellectual jibberjabber!
