About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Contextualizing the journey.
ABOUT ME
I come from the middle of a big family and like to think I'm a pretty happy medium of intra- and extroversion. I like listening to peoples stories and relating with my own. I enjoy a raucous night out about as much as a warm drink and a good movie. I've been told, and hope it's true, that I'm very "low maintenance," and I never feel like I need much. Some water, generally.
PHILOSOPHY
Oh, like this is a short response question.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would hope by being myself and saying yes more often than no.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just starting out.
Interests
I'm fairly athletic as things go, and play on one of our universities' teams. I enjoy exercising and running around and general goofing off when it feels appropriate. I love dancing when I get the chance to let go. I sing and have sung in a multitude of groups, as well as beatbox every once and awhile so there's that. I used to competitively game so there's a part of me that gets fired up when people start taking about fireballs and dragons and stuff.
As far as conversation topics, I greatly enjoy hearing people's stories and the lessons they've learned from living, and trying to figure out how to synthesize that with my own philosophies. I'm always down to talk creatively, throwing ideas around about things as big as the meaning of life, or world politics, or art- Similarly, I'm also down to talk about how dope these beats are, or why everything in life is just a quesadilla.

Music, Movies, and Books
We can talk about it. I have a wide variety of musical taste, love things with Afrocuban and Latin influences, anything I can dance to or sing along with, appreciate most orchestral pieces. Similarly, I like entertainment books just about as much as more academic literature. I generally enjoy faster paced, entertainment value movies more than art films though. I'm pretty good at tearing up while watching movies with a touching moment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time a cup fell off a counter, and my first reaction was to kick it before it hit the ground as if it were a balloon. It was ceramic, miraculously didn't break, and floated right into my hands for the easiest cradle catch. I was pretty shocked.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well... Hm. I've done a lot of violence and anger management/recognition work, life analysis and observation of human interaction. Most of which boils down to life philosophies I'd be willing to share.
I'm a certified yoga teacher, so I understand some fun skeletal/philosophical things I'm willing to share. I'd be happy to teach some musical things, beat boxing, English, dancing... Whatever else comes up...
I'd love to learn various rhythms and dances of cultures in more depth. I'd like to get better at cooking. Languages. Life.
