Irish in the Canadian Rockies.
Took a 3-month sabbatical, to travel North America.
Back in Ireland after that and I lasted two weeks. While listing all the “responsible” reasons I had to stop travelling, a mate just said “So what?”
I quit on the spot, flew back, and lived and traveled —25 states, countless campsites, zero regrets.
Now settled (ish) in Calgary/Fernie with a real job again, but still traveling.
Easygoing, tidy, love a good story and a strong coffee.
