我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing for the chance to meet locals of places i want to visit and get a perspective different from what i'd get as a tourist otherwise. - I like to see what a native or long term inhabitant thinks is interesting about their city and not just what a brochure says.

I have benefited a lot from meeting people from all different nationalities in my city and while travelling, discussing the similiarities and the differences between our cultures and whatnot is always great, so i think couchsurfing could provide a good avenue for that.

I'm interested in expanding my knowledge of languages, particularly my German but I also like to learn a bit of something new.
