I am interested in just about everything and anything! Especially into travelling, making and watching movies, playing and listening to music, playing sport, juggling, chess, Go (baduk) and boardgames of all sorts, generally having fun and meeting new people, eating, cooking, cycling, getting exercise!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like real cinema that makes you think.
I love jazz, especially be-bop, swing and the old piano masters like Thelonious Monk and Bud Powell. I prefer instrumental music because I think words ruin music for the most part. This month I have mostly been listening to the Bad Plus trio, Ibrahim Electric, Tinarawin

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played soccer professionally.
Performed at Shambhala (giant music festival in BC)!
Had 2 credits in a movie on Netflix!
Somehow ended up as Executive Chef!
Hitch-hiked around eastern Europe, and met some amazing people along the way.
