ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm a New Zealand photographic artist living in Berlin, Germany.
After moving here in 2009, i still love it, which is why I remain...

I grew up in a small beach community in New Zealand, so each experience outside of such an isolated place is a bonus!

I'm curious and open, i like cobbled streets, salty sea swimming and post-industrial landscapes.
My favourite places in Germany are Duisburg and Berlin

I am passionate about analogue photography!
but i don't rule out using it in combination with digital technology to produce ambiguous results...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've used couchsurfing sporadically over the years. In our old big rooftop WG we hosted many travellers! In 2014, I spent almost 2 months couchsurfing the Ruhrgebiet in west germany and met a pile of great locals. It really is the best way to get to know a place and its people, and learn about their relationship with the local landscape.

Visiting the garden at Palais Het Loo in Apeldoorn, Netherlands...the most awesome garden I have ever seen. along with Versailles of course.
