Hey! I am just about to finish my job as a teacher in London, where I have worked for the last 3 years.

I am heading to Spain, where I plan to spend a lot of time over the next 6-12 months, during which I hope to spend a lot of time on learning Spanish.

I love sport and music. I'm an easy going, friendly guy who enjoys getting to meet new people and learn about new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To see new places and meet interesting people.

While in Spain, I plane to spend most of my time at workaways or house sitting but may want to pass by and spend shorter amounts of time in cities getting to meet new people.

Favourite artists include: Lou Reed, David Bowie, RHCP, Bob Marley, Rolling Stones.
I also LOVE to dance, in lots of different spaces.
I am a novice on guitar and bass but get a lot of enjoyment out of playing them despite my lack of skill.

My favourite directors include: Martin McDonagh, Quentin Tarantino, Francis Ford Coppola.

I love reading novels set in different parts of the world and at different times in history. I love finding out more about a place and time through fiction.
Some of my favourite books include: A thousand splendid suns, Half of a yellow sun, All quiet on the western front, The thread.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 6 weeks hitchhiking from the north to south of Vietnam, learning Vietnamese along the way.

My main aim over the next 6-12 months is to develop my Spanish language skills.
I love sharing the music I listen to with people, as well as being introduced to new music.
I enjoy making and eating good food.
I am more than happy to help people with their English.
