ABOUT ME

I was taught to be an honest person and hold a strong code of ethics. I am a very active person and love the unknown. I like to keep a positive frame of mind and have fun in life. I am always up for a night out. I am a bit of a geek and am not afraid to admit it. I feel a person should be who they are and not what others want them to be.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that if a person does good for others, others will do good for them. I live to have fun. I like to challenge myself and do things unconventionaly.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to meet new people and learn about different cultures. I would love to be able to teach others about Canada.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing and have not had the chance to surf many couches. I have surfed and hosted a couple of times while living in Germany. I can't wait to continue.

Interests

I am a very active person and love to play sports. I am always playing some form of organized sport. The main sports that I have played in my life are Basketball, Soccer, Rugby, track and field, swim team, and volleyball. I am a thrill seeker, skydiving was definitely one of my best life experiences. I am a huge dog lover. I have three dogs at home in Canada. Two of them are shelter dogs. I find that dogs can add so much to person's life. They are great companions and always manage to cheer you up. Oh and of course... I love beer, and love food. I like to cook.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to watch movies and find them a great way to relax. I am a fan of British humor, action films, Zombie movies, Disney movies, superhero films and science fiction. My musical interests will often depend on my mood. I often listen to Justice, MGMT, The Beatles, Queen, City in Colour, Classical, Jazz, and many more artists and genres. In terms of books, I love fiction novels, comical novels and Business information books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went tree planting in nothern Ontario in Canada for two months... I went skidiving, white water rafting and tree ziplinning. I have already traveled parts of Europe and am about to travel there for a second time. I went canyoning in Switzerland.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn new things to cook, as well as teach people how to cook what I know. I would love to hear and share life experiences. I love unexpected stories.
