Overview
About Me
I am a PhD Student in the field of History of Economic Thought in Lyon, France.
I have started my thesis in september 2014. I'm working more specifically on the exchange rates and currency policy in the United States during the beginning of the 19th century.
I enjoy reading, cooking and discovering new people, cultures and places. I am really curious and optimistic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my thesis I have to participate to some colloquim around the world.
I am really happy to do this, and I would like to combine the professionnal purpose to a more personnal purpose as meeting new people and discovering new places.
And, participation's fees to these seminars are not cheap ;-).
Interests
I like cooking, reading, meeting new people and travelling.
The last book I have read (for my pleasure not my thesis) is 1984 by George Orwell. The last place I went is Milan (Italy).
Of course, I like talking about economy but also about philosophy, sociology or just about the weather and stuffs less "boring".
I also like to party, to have a beer with my friends and enjoy nature.
