I am a bubbly person with a quirky sense of humour and a love for adventure. I'm from the south west of England - and yes, I voted remain in the referendum! - and have a slight obsession with the sea. I've done a sky dive, a bungee jump and my next crazy adrenaline-fueled accident waiting to happen is to visit South Africa and go cage-swimming with Great White Sharks. I'm hoping I won't get eaten.

I'm starting a masters in September, focusing on pirates, with ambitions of going in editing novels - though my absolute dream is to become a playwright.

Just visiting some family in South Germany and then planning to head up to Berrlin and eventually Amsterdam with a friend. Couchsurfing seems like such a social and interesting experience - and I've yet to try it. It'll also be great to get a local's perspective on the secret haunts (especially cheap bars) of their city.

I'm addicted to fiction. My favourite books of all time (so far) are: Shadow in the Wind, The Great Gatsby, The Poisonwood Bible, The Princess Bride (not as lame as it sounds), Howl's Moving Castle and Persuasion.

Favourite films include: Dark Knight Rises, Pan's Labyrinth, Little Miss Sunshine, In Bruges, Amelie, Insidious and so many more I can't think of right now.

Some favourite music: The Shins, Young the Giant, James Vincent Mcmorrow, Damien Rice, Johnny Cash, The Fratellis, Alt J, The Cure, Kasabian, The Kinks and almost anything 80s.

A unique sense of humour (filled with terrible puns) and a positive outlook of life - full of curiosity. I can share some deep conversations and some which are utterly banal and ridiculous. I have the tendancy to talk myself in circles.
