About Me

I am a nature and animal lover. I am Breton and passionate about Celtic cultures. I am a vegetarian and try to live sustainably for our mother Earth. I love getting lost (it's a good way to learn how to find your way). I try and go outside everyday and spend a bit of time in nature. I am studying linguistics, more specifically bilingualism (don't get me started on the subject or I'll never stop). I like reading, I also paint and create stuff. I can listen to pretty much any kind of music. I don't believe in any religion but I believe in Nature, I believe in something greater than us (I'm happy to talk about religions though). I like hiking but I'm not a very efficient hiker because bugs are way to interesting to be ignored. I have way too many plants (but I've named them all). I play rugby (9 or 10), I drive motorbikes, I am told I am clumsy but I like to believe that my limbs just function differently. I am part of the LGBT+ community. I love cooking for other people and I'm trying to learn to appreciate cooking for myself (which is way harder). I like spices but spices don't like me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in communities. Today's society promote individualism and immediate satisfaction, we live in big cities and we're surrounded by people all the time but we're alone. We run from places to places without taking the time to get to know each other or smile at each other. I want to believe that we can still share and let go of the expectations of society. I want to talk to people I don't know and whom I have never met before and be able to share our life experiences, stories, food, and laughs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have worked in a community garden with one of the most wonderful women I have ever met in a village lost in the state of Washington.
I swam with sea turtles and I saw a wild Martinique pinktoe tarantula.
I have travelled on my own throughout the United States for a month.
I once carried a hot cup of tea up the stairs without spilling it.
