Overview
About Me
I love food and cooking, love history, love traveling and meeting people from different countries.
I'm currently a student in MIT Sloan and will be graduating in June, 2015. I will join Santander Bank in capital planning in Boston after graduation.
I travel a lot and find it amazing to learn different cultures and histories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I heard Counchsurfing from a friend who always does CS. It's a great place for travelers to meet each other and create synergies (the saved accommodation fees). Especially for those who travel a lot every year, CS always brings people from all over the place together. Since I am still living in dorm, I'll start hosting when I have my own apartment!
Interests
FOOD. I'd like to try different kinds of food, better if they are weird. And I always try to learn how to cook the amazing food I had.
HISTORY. I'm not an expert in history, but I'd love to learn the local history wherever I travel to.
DEVELOPMENT. I came from a developing country and I care about development for those countries, especially education and economy.
MUSEUMS. I definitely go to the local museums wherever I travel. I love the art, sculptures, and history displayed.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to Chinese songs because I could sympathize with the lyrics and rhythms. So my favorite singers are Faye Wang (王菲) and Gloria Teng (G.E.M, 邓紫棋).
If you ask me to name one Western singer, I would say Céline Dion. I think she's a combination of elegance and beautiful voice.
My favorite movie would be Brave Heart. But several French movies I watched recently are quite good. I would say the favorite is Le Diner de Cons, a sarcastic comedy that reveals the darkness of wealthy people and virtue of idiots. (Very French)
Favorite book is The Great Game
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling to Argentina alone and survived with my elementary level Spanish especially in places that not many people speak English such as Puerto Iguazu and El Calafate.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook some Chinese dishes, share my travel stories, and childhood stories.
