To Live Life To Its Maximum Potential and Meet as Many People Possible Along the Way!!

I am a woman with several loves: traveling, meeting new people, adventure, eating good food (thats number 1!!!), beautiful jewelry, music, reading, watching movies, and enjoying life. I am pretty easy going, I can entertain myself and others, I like to run and ride bikes. I just moved from Switzerland to New York and I'm excited for this new adventure! I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, then I moved to New Haven, Connecticut to attend Yale for college, worked as a teacher for a few years afterwards. then moved to Yens, Switzerland (near Lausanne and Geneve) and now I'm going to graduate school at Columbia University Teachers College. I'm still trying to discover this city, you should join me! I enjoy meeting new people and learning as much as I can about different cultures, different people, and how though we are different, we can still be connected on so many levels. We just have to have that willingness to reach out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By surfing people's couches and letting people surf my couch. Surfboardt. Lol

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have CSed in Paris several times, Italy (Milan, Florence, Rome, Naples), Greece (Athens,Santorini), South France, Romania (Cluj-Napoca), went to a CSing camping event in Florence which was very fun and I got to meet people from all over the world. I also had the pleasure of being hosted in Brussels and Barcelona. I've been hosted also in Salt Lake City. I try to go to CouchSurfing events everwhere I go. All pleasant experiences. I really enjoy CSing. I've hosted in Connecticut and I look forward to hosting/surfing even more :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Quentin Tarentino flicks and James Cameron. I am a sucker for romance, dramas, and comedies. Call me cliche but I LOVE realistic and thoughtful romantic comedies. If you have one in mind that you want to watch, I'm always down. Also, I like going to the movies, so if you also enjoy movies, I'm sure we'll get along just fine. I'm willing to see just about anything.

Zora Neale Hurston is my idol :)

I enjoy reading vastly different genres, it just depends on my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went Skydiving a few years ago, that was awesome! Also, I competed in track & field in the World Transplant Olympics in Durban, South Africa in 2013. (I had a kidney transplant in 2011)

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy couchsurfing because a lot of what I know I have learned through others, and my desire is to meet as many people as possible to keep soaking up this knowledge. I like to have fun and be spontaneous, I'll consider doing almost anything, doesn't mean I'll do it though lol. I like to just hop on and off trains and buses in new cities and see where they take me, I have several stories about this so feel free to ask! As a guest, I am respectful of your wishes and will infiltrate your world as much as you allow me to. If you're busy, I am totally fine with entertaining myself, if you want to hang out, I am always up for that. I'm very easy to please, and I hope that I am able to offer great company in return.
