Overview
About Me
I’m a grounding force! Open-minded, free spirited, righteous, passionate and so very loving! I honour myself and the people around me by staying true to who I am.

Just returned from NYC with my beloved partner, Blair! We are both artists and gardeners. Open, honest, progressive, emotionally intelligent! We move with intention and invest energy into our homes and relationships. We’re non-violent, so even the rare moments of frustration, misunderstanding or miscommunication are navigated with compassion and patience.
**Please take the time to read through my entire profile, including “My Home” section to ensure that we are compatible before requesting to stay with us! As a busy and spontaneous couple, we will not be able to confirm requests that are made more than a month in advance.
I do not accept friend requests from people I have not met in real life.**
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I seek depth and substance as I navigate this plane. Couch surfing allows me to connect with people that have similar life philosophies and a mutual understanding that transcends language barriers and time! I love understanding different cultures/parts of the world through my hosts and I always seem to develop lasting friendships and homes wherever I'm so fortunately welcomed. That’s what this is all about, right?
My first experience with couch surfing was in Montréal with a group of lovely folks who treated my best friend and I like family. We drank, smoked, jammed out with some instruments and music.. it was a beautiful experience and I still stay in touch with my hosts. Since then, we've reconnected twice where I was able to host (in Toronto and Montreal).
Although I don’t have many references, I have couch surfed in about 5 homes in Japan, 2 in LA, 1 in Montreal, 1 in New York, 2 in Victoria, 1 in the UK, (probably more that I am overlooking) and all of my experiences have been nothing short of fabulous! I am endlessly grateful for the hospitality and generosity of my hosts and friends. <3

Music, Movies, and Books
Eclectic taste in general! I work in the underground rave scene in Toronto part time and I adore the world of music. Music allows us to feel, dance, and be FREE. I’m certain I could introduce you to music that will have you in love with a new artist/genre/composition. I loooove anything that’s unique, experimental, bends the bounds of genres. Lots of alternative rock, techno, rnb, hip hop, club/rave music, funk, soul, reggae, rap.. Been on a '70's kick recently.
I also host a monthly book club and we are currently reading "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath. A couple of my favourite reads from our previous discussions include "Blood In My Eye" by George L. Jackson and "Minor Detail" by Adania Shidbli.
Metaphysics, identity, community, history, time (travel), memory, love, pain... Let's talk film.. Let's talk about it all!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed to the top of Mount Fuji in Japan by sunrise
Worked as an aupair in Paris + Gallipoli
Taught Tae Kwon Do as an instructor after 10 years of training
Travelled to the line of totality for the total solar eclipse 2024
Designed and built a garden in my neighbour's backyard with Blair
Teach, Learn, Share
My mission is to nourish and uplift the minds, bodies and souls of those in my communities. I'm obsessed with making everything from scratch (every kind of sourdough recipe, fermented foods like kimchi, kombucha, wine, etc). I'm a great cook and would love to share my knowledge/extend my love for my new found friends through shared meals if time and space permits.
I'm a slow growing flower; perpetually learning and teaching as I blossom.. But at the moment, I'm especially interested in learning more when it comes to camping, driving, DJing, bartending, any trade or art form.(:
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will always offer whatever I can but it would be an honour to tattoo my guests/hosts if that exchange is something that interests them!! :D Knowledge, music, film photos, books, clothing, recipes, anything from my garden, homegrown tea blends, art prints, birth chart/astrocartography readings, a tender moment, anything really!
