Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was first introduced to Couch Surfing when I was travelling in Japan and helped some guys out who I overheard were speaking in English. He offered me his house to stay, but our schedules did not coincide. However, the chance encounter still brought me here!

Interests

I love food. Cooking, Eating, Learning about food! I believe you can learn a lot about a person, a culture, a country by what food they eat and even how they eat it. Food to me is like a language we all share. A language I speak very fluently and one I would love to share with you and likewise you with me.

But apart from food, I also like being outdoors, in the ocean, on mountains, in forests, walking, cycling, swimming, running and anything that gets the heart going and the sweat flowing!

Above all, I love to learn. To learn about people, cultures, languages, cooking, philosophies anything outside of what I know to broaden my mind, because the world is very big and I only know a very small portion of it. And like my cooking, hopefully I can share these with you too.

I saw the sunrise on the summit of Mt Fuji on my Birthday one year.
