Hello, we are Kostya and Sasha Potapovs, husband and wife.

Kostya: I'm a writer and an actor, I write stories and put on theater one-man performances on the basis of them.

Sasha: I'm film director and scriptwriter, make movies and short videos.

We enjoy cycling, cooking, meditating, discovering foreign countries and diversity of their cultures, reading and writing, meeting new people. We have started to practice yoga. We are also interested in buddism, psychology and people's life stories.

We don't drink and don't smoke, we try to eat healthy food, we're friendly, openhearted and tolerant. We follow world news, adore communicating with people of different cultures. We don't have vodka , balalayka and bear with us but we have sense of humor and great amount of stories about Russia which we can share with you.))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When we went to our first journey together to India and Nepal we decided not to stay in expensive all inclusive hotels and try to explore real country instead of its touristic part. And we keep on this way. Couchsurfing occurred to be great opportunity to follow our life principals.

Sasha:
Made 2 short films, wrote series script, made music video clip, found Kostya.

As well as we work in theater (Kostya) and film making (Sasha) industries in Russia, we can share our experience and knowledge in these spheres. We also

like to talk about art and literature. Moreover we’ve practiced meditation for 2 years and can also share our experience.
