I am a Greek architecture student, living in Athens and wanting to travel the world! I am the middle child of a lovely family with two other brothers. I like learning languages, wandering in cities and villages, and trying new food. I am involved in lgbtq activism, in Athens' vibrant youth community. I like swimming in the sea or enjoying a walk in a park. And I am usually up for a party ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have always hosted friends of friends in the past, people who were looking for a place to stay and I hadn't met them before and I realised that it's a really great way to meet people from around the world! So I decided to join couchsurfing now, since a lot of people like travelling like that, and I want to be part of the community!

UNFORTUNATELY, I HAVE A HOUSEMATE NOW WHO IS NOT OK WITH HAVING STRANGERS OVER. I'm really sorry :(

I really like travelling but so far, I haven't tried anything very extreme or adventurous. Backpacking isn't very popular in Greece, so I never found the push I needed. But after living for a semester abroad and getting to meet wonderful people from around the world, I decided that I definitely have to travel more! And couchsurfing is a great way to meet new friends and locals, plus it helps make a journey longer :) So here goes!

Books:
The Harry Potter series (of course Azkaban is my favourite ;), His Dark Materials trilogy, A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Lord of the Rings, Tales of Otori, The Millenium trilogy, 1984, Animal Farm, The stranger, The Trial, The Metamorphosis, The Great Chimera, Wild Swans and many more that don't come to mind or are in Greek :) In general I like fiction and fantasy

Movies:
I watch a lot of them, but I can't remember a favourite. The last great movies I saw were Lobster, The handmaiden, The salesman...

But I will say this: I believe one of the most difficult genres is comedy. So my favourite comedies, I remember! Definitely The life of Brian, Mel Brook's The History of the World, Young Frankenstein. I am also a big fan of Edgar Wright's and Simon Pegg's work, as well as Seth Rogen's and James Franco's movies! Oh, and I love Michael Cera <3
