Finding new means to life

ABOUT ME

Crazy about Mountains. If I could, I would ride an Ibex into battle.
I do all kinds of mountain sports and mountaineering: bouldering, climbing, hiking, skiing, high alps, via ferrata, sitting at alpine huts drinking beer, and so on.
Also, I like my DSLR, which at least makes me look kinda professional, my pictures say otherwise, though. Probably because I'm too lazy to photoshop them.

I'm working as a consultant, recently started studying forestry, dropped it again and am currently searching for new means to life.
Might be starting to work in welfare soon, or start studying acting...whatever comes next to my floating mind. I kinda haven't decided to grow up yet....

I'm about 90% vegan, into foodsharing, urban gardening and general downsizing/back to earth.

Up to now, I've not spent enough time travelling. I have been in Beijing for half a year, but that somehow doesn't cut it for me. So I'm looking forward to get around some more (couches, here I come).

This also explains why I don't have references, friends, pictures (of me couchsurfing...this is not Facebook...) yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch movies mainly to pass time, so I don't really have favorites.
But I've recently watched "Als wir träumten" which was absolutely stunning...

I'm more a bookish guy, though, and love reading. Be it modern novels or old classics, give me a book and I'm happy. Currently reading Dante's divine comedy.

Also, I've rediscovered theatre for me, saw some awesome classics lately and love it.

I listen to a whole lot of kinds of music, but my longtime favorite is techno and electronica. I can spend evenings and evenings out dancing to techno music...

What I Can Share with Hosts
