My family and I are excited to help travelers with a couch. I like to give preference to people who have a history with CS, who have hosted themselves and who take the time to read my profile and tell me why they want to stay with me in particular. Unfortunately, it is hard for us to accommodate surfers/locals who need a place for extended periods, since we don't have a guest room. Sorry about that!

ABOUT ME

I dance. I sing. I read. I love meeting people and going places. I used to make my living as a freelance foreign correspondent, traveling most of the time for over a decade. I ended up in Indiana for love and had a daughter in 2017, so now I'm more grounded. I started graduate school in 2018, learning more about global power structures (studying political science). Currently I'm exploring structural incentives for politicians to manipulate domestic opinions.

I've lived on five continents and traveled them all, minus the poles. I'm big into arts, my mom being a dance teacher and dad a cellist. I love reading and photography. I shoot my own stories.

I'm passionate about movement and the coolest thing I've come across so far is contact improvisation dancing. I do it everywhere possible.

I'm adventurous. I'm crazy about international affairs. I want to explore the world and understand it a bit better. I'm also really into non-violent communication and mindfulness. I do yoga on a regular basis. I enjoy spending time in nature.

I would never have been able to explore the world unless I had an amazing network of friends who put me up, anywhere from Sao Paolo to Kabul to San Francisco.

I enjoy reading, moving my body and social connection. I love cooking food and hosting friend. Spending time with my 5 y.o. daughter is my greatest joy, though.

When I had more time, I used to be into outdoor sports like hiking, climbing and kayaking. But more than anything I'm a dancer; salsa, tango, modern - you name it. Above all, contact improvisation.
