We are Daniel and Paulina, a very friendly couple of Chilean. We love traveling, living new experiences and sharing with local people.

We studied business and we were working for 9 years in big companies in our country, but we realized that we love traveling, knowing new people and learning about different cultures, so we quit our jobs in Chile more than 2 years ago. We traveled to New Zealand with Working Holiday Visa, where we lived for more than 1 year. Our experience was amazing there, we met many people from different countries, we learnt English and we worked in different kinds of jobs: dishwasher, house cleaner, labourer, housekeeping and operator in a factory.

After New Zealand, we have traveled in Asia for almost one year (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Nepal , Sri Lanka and India). In this countries we have done differents things like teaching English in a rural school as volunteer in Thailand, studing Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal, learning macrame, Reiki and meditation in India.

Our next steps are Europe in May and Brazil in June.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We would like to know local people and learn about new cultures, so we think to use their sofa is a good option to share with them.
And we like to share with more travelers too, so couchsurfing events are very useful!!
