As we traveled and live together, we decided to adapt this profile, so people can know both of us.

SOBRE NOSOTROS - ABOUT US

-Constanza: Tengo 27 años. Soy vegetariana desde el 2004 (desde que tenía 14 años!), ahora puedo cocinar rico. Desde Villarrica (pequeña ciudad lacustre del sur de Chile) me trasladé a vivir a Santiago por la universidad, donde estudié primero Lingüística y después Pedagogía en Castellano. Además, soy terapeuta de reiki y tengo dos gatos.

I am 27 years old. I'm vegetarian since 2004 (since I was 14 years old!). Now I know how to cook tasty. I changed my home from Villarrica (tiny city with a lake in the south of Chile) to Santiago for college, there I studied Linguistics first and then to be a Spanish teacher. Also, I'm a Reiki therapist and I have two cats.

-Rodrigo: tengo 29 años, nací y crecí en Santiago de Chile. Soy profesor de historia y tengo mucho interés en la cultura, política e idiosincracia latinoamericana. Conocí a Constanza en la universidad, y desde entonces compartimos nuestra pasión por viajar.
Soy una persona abierta y tolerante que disfruta conversar, salir y tomar una copa.

I am 29 years old, I was born and grew in Santiago de Chile. I'm a History teacher and I have much interest in culture, politics and Latin America's idiosyncrasy. I met Constanza in college and since then we share our wanderlust.
I am an open-minded and tolerant person who enjoys to talk, hang out and have a drink.

Y lo más importante que compartimos es sin duda nuestro bebé, Simón, que nació en enero!

And the most important thing we share with each other is our baby Simon, who was born in January!

Porque CS permite tener experiencias más reales, cercanas y divertidas con hosts que conocen su localidad. Resulta mucho mejor que registrarse en un B&B y leer la Lonely Planet :P
Además, ya tenemos muy buenos amigos que hemos hecho gracias a CS, una de las cosas más lindas de viajar. Ahora que volvimos a casa queremos retribuir a la comunidad toda la buena onda que recibimos viajando y seguir conociendo personas de otras partes del mundo.

Because CS allows to have more real experiences, close and fun with hosts who know their place. It's much better than book in a B&B and read Lonely Planet :P
Also, we already have really good friends that we made thanks to CS, one of the nicest things about traveling. Now that we went back home we want to reward to de comunity all the good vibes we received and keep meeting people from all over the world.

Recientemente disfruté mucho con los libros "Ensayo sobre la ceguera" (Ensaio sobre a cegueira) de Sarmago y con "El beso de la mujer araña", de Manuel Puig.

Renunciamos a nuestro trabajo para dedicarnos 100% a viajar. ¡Tuvimos un hijo!
We quitted our jobs to dedicate ourselves to travel full time. We had a son!

Queremos aprender de la cultura y la vida cotidiana de los lugares a donde vamos o de las personas que recibimos.

We want to learn about the culture and daily life of where we visit or the people we receive.

Constanza:
Puedo enseñar acerca de la relación entre las emociones y las enfermedades (visión del Reiki Usui), también algunos platos vegetarianos sencillos y a cocinar el manjar chileno.
I can teach about the relation between emotion and diseases (Reiki Usui vision), also some simple vegetarian dishes.

Rodrigo:
Puedo explicar temas sobre historia latinoamericana y mundial, hacer mantenciones básicas a bicicletas y, si me lo permites, practicar la lectura del tarot contigo.
I can explain issues about Latin American and global's history, make bike's basic maitenance and, if you allow me to, practice Tarot reading with you.

Podemos cocinar comida chilena-vegetariana para compartir. Y por supuesto, todas las conversaciones de experiencias de Chile, de viajes y del país de destino que el anfitrión esté dispuesto a sostener.
En casa, ofrecemos una cama, abrigo, gratas conversaciones, buena onda y otras cosas que dependerán del momento en el que nos visiten.

We can cook Chilean-vegetarian meals to share. And of course, every conversation about Chilean and travelling experiences that you are willing to keep.
In home, we offer a bed, shelter, nice conversations, good vibe and something else that depends on the moment you visit us.
