I'm a filmmaker and political organizer who believes in intersectionality, making a positive difference, and giving more than I take. The oldest of four and the son of two hard-working doctors (general practitioners) I grew up in Portland, Oregon and went to Prescott College because they offered experiential learning courses. I earned two minors in Adventure Education and Environmental Studies with an Emphasis in Agroecology. For my major in Film Theory & Production I took additional courses at the Northwest Film Center and studied abroad for a year at Victoria University of Wellington. Now I work as an independent filmmaker for both professional clients and also for causes and campaigns.

I live to travel. I love meeting new people and going to new places. I enjoy learning about new places and hearing other peoples stories and experiences. Right now I have a bed in a '92 GMC Safari and I also frequently couch surf with my clients.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I once worked thirty six days in a row as a video manager for an intense field campaign. Without breaking confidentiality, every day I would film protests, interview volunteers and teach others how to use camcorders. Every evening I would collect all the footage, organize and process it and make one to eight short videos that I would upload to Dropbox. This work empowered our protesters to have a defense and accountability against physical or verbal intimidation and led toward a successful outcome for our campaign.

I love capturing the every day interactions of people. I will happily take photos or help assemble day in the life of videos in exchange for places to stay. I also love to cook, actually really enjoy cleaning, and am a budding gardener. I believe in giving more than I take.
