About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Constant improvement,growth, and betterment

ABOUT ME

I've lived, learned and travelled.. Right now I just work, a lot -- but have sights set on travelling again soon. I live with my amazing girlfriend of over two years along with our fur kids.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for the moment - the spark of interaction that results between two people.

All things typically fall into the right place, if you just relax and let them; always appreciate the opportunities presented to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share, encourage, and embrace a desire to host and be hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Summer 2007 I discovered CS and the story began. I was a new, little referenced member, embarking on a three-month rail pass odyssey with the idea to surf as much as possible. I had no idea what to expect, and I could not have imagined what I actually discovered. I met the most amazing people while surfing through the European continent and I have now developed a keen sense what it truly means to be an active, conscientious guest in this project. I feel so lucky to have people I consider friends from Scandinavia to Italy to Romania to Portugal and so many others in between! Now I get to enjoy offering up a couch, when it develops!

And let me tell you, these have been some of the most awesome times ever... I love cooking for new friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love comedy movies, movies that make you question what you think you know, and the occasional cheesy action/horror flick...

As for books, I cant read enough, and will read most anything -- but I especially enjoy sadistic, satiric novels that dissect human nature and its flaws.

When it comes to music it goes from hardcore, punk and metal.. to jazz, blues, and folk.. to breaks, DnB, and techno.. to indie, alternative, and garage... in short, please play me something new I haven't heard, I love anything with musicianship....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the sun rise behind the main temple of Angkor Wat was utterly humbling and beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

A glimpse into the fantastic world of culinary arts is a small piece of what I can teach.

I have got a lot to share, and usually do without prompting...

What I Can Share with Hosts

There is definitely a theme here, but you'll definitely get a good meal out of my stay.
