ABOUT ME

- I like food. A lot! And will try anything(food-related) once. The craziest thing I have ever eaten is a bbq'd rat on a stick!
- I like doing different things and get bored of doing the same things very easily.
- I'm interested in all things Chinese related (one of the reasons why i lived there for a while). It's such a big place and there are so many random things, facts, foods to discover...
- I used to learn Chinese and I am really hoping I can class myself as being able to speak more than one language someday soon. I'm jealous of all people who already can.
- It goes without saying but I love travelling to new and crazy places. I'm not a sit-on-the-beach lover though and I prefer cities or green places :)
- I'm pretty easy going and independent. I am passionate about my career, learning new things, travelling to as many places as possible.
- I can be creative and like painting, jewellery making, printmaking....I also like yoga, running and hiking although I don't get to do as much of these things as i'd like to...
- I like old things; antiques, vintage clothing, old architecture...
- I'm currently loving my vintage cameras
- I like boats
- I like fancy dress parties...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm friendly, I like showing people new places and giving people advice about things; places to go, food to eat, how to get around... I'd like to meet new people who are interested in travelling and finding out about Hull. When I get chance to travel, I'd like to stay in the local community rather than hotels and hostels, receiving good advice and company from others who know the area well to get a real experience of these new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was a host whilst I lived in China and had a few groups of people stay over at my flat as well as showing a few others around Guangzhou, the city I lived in. Now I'm back in Hull, I'd like to meet some other travel-lovers for advice about new places to visit in the UK and around the world!
