ABOUT ME

I am a woman on the loose. My life is a contradiction of romance novels and anti-racist, anti-imperialistic, feminism and I can give you a damn good argument for both. When I'm not buying books or handing out free condoms, I like to travel, write, draw chalk hop-scotch boards to Narnia, camp along lake shores, avoid my Latin homework, and eat mangoes.

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing matters. Every person who has ever lived, every choice ever made, every heart broken, every love found, every war waged or peace lost, every genius, idiot, whore, king, and storyteller has existed on a mote of dust floating within a sunbeam illuminating their insignificance. Revel in this. By the very nature of life's futility all things become possible. You cannot find meaning. There is no God or Goddess or Divinity that can tell you how you must live your life, you must make your own meaning and live with no regrets. Be Bold.

Currently as my life is in flux I am just surfing but at some point when I'm again settled I hope to host and meet new people (if anyone ever comes to the sticks of Michigan).

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book of all time is Cunt by Inga Muscio, it is my scripture but other books to live and breath by are Le Petit Prince, Ishmael, Hamlet, The Handmaid's Tale, Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Bet Me and the two romance writer Queens who rule my heart, Karen Moning and J.R. Ward.

As far as music goes I essentially live in musical hermitage, and only listen to what people bring me. I have a lot of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald thrown in with the Indie Breathe Owl Breathe and popular Lady Gaga.

Must watch movies are Princess Bride, Iron Jawed Angels, The Illusionist, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Pride and Prejudice.

At this point in my life, I think one of the most valuable things I've learned is that you have to be bold. Fear nothing. Fight hard for change so that someday there will be nothing to fear.
