I'm made in China, born and raised in Shanghai, then moved to Canada and now proudly call the best place on earth - Vancouver - home. I sometimes think like a 40 year-old but most of the time I just behave like a 4 year old :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just started surfing, and found it a whole new way of traveling. I'm no longer running around trying to go everywhere, instead I slow down, so that I could have nice conversations with my host and I have learned so much from them. Afterall, views hardly excites me, but it's the people I meet that makes me anticipate the new adventure.

Interests

Travel,especially taking the time to walk a place, talk to locals, and experience a different culture/lifestyle; see/Do/Learn new things, meet new friends; hiking; skiing; watching creative ads

Music - Pop mainly, learning to appreciate more classical music.

Movies - Harry Potter, Pixar's all, slowly switching to less mainstream movies and hoping to make one myself one day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled inside the Arctic Circle in Alaska and saw Northern Lights; traveling for longer than a year... and counting

I wouldn't dare to teach anyone anything, I will be happy if someone would be inspired by my story or avoid the mistakes that I have made. I do believe that I can always learn something from everyone. And I'm always happy to share my stories.
