ABOUT ME

I just want to have fun in life. I love traveling more than anything else in the world. There is something about the rush you get when entering a country you have never been to before. I love to eat crazy stuff. I love to study languages and cultures. There is nothing more fascinating than learning about how other people operate. I love to go out with friends and meet new people. There is too much I want to do and see in this world for me to sit down. I love being outside. Camping, hiking, scuba diving!!! The future excites me because you never know what it holds. You never know the people you will meet or adventures you will have!!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for the adventure of it. I am young and there is so much to see and explore. Pushing my limits is awesome. There is no better feeling than doing something that scares you shitless. It is cliche but very true. Live today like there is no tomorrow! This is very hard to do. One of my biggest fears is getting sucked up into society and feeling the pressures of life....keeping up with the joneses.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently can't host anyone because I just had to move back home :( I am moving to Tianjin, China for a year of study in a couple months. I would love to host people there, but I am forced to stay in a foreign student dorm....maybe I could get my roommate turned onto the idea and sneak some couchsurfers in!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never "Officially" CoushSurfed but I have def. hit up my very close friends in Germany and have stayed in the attic a few times! (The girl in the picture is one of my Germans). I also stayed with some friends in Barcelona. THAT WAS AMAZING. This whole IDEA is amazing. The only thing better than exploring a new country is staying with locals because that is how you truly experience a new land.

Interests

I have said a lot of my interests above. I like traveling, cooking, camping, hiking, scuba diving, eating crazy stuff, dancing, going out, flying, learning about different forms of government, meeting people, learning, AIESEC, life, ADVENTURE.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yeah, I'm from Kansas....but I HATE country. I am good with most everything else. My favorite is alternative, or rap. I like to dance you know...I need something to get me moving.

I like Movies...action, adventure, horror it is all good as long as they are not 3 hours long. I have a hard time enjoying 3 plus hour long movies.

Books, I will be honest I am not big on reading for pleasure. It is hard for me to find the time to read. Although I do like reading eastern books. I enjoy a lot of books about eastern religion, philosophy, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been backpacking through Europe. That was one of the best things I have ever done. Hiked the Great Wall. I have been kicked out of a coffee house in the Netherlands for taking pictures (curiosity and excitement can get the best of me). I had a shark, a sea turtle, and a huge green eel all swim right underneath me in one dive while scuba diving!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am well traveled...as most of the people on here are. I know a lot about French culture. As well as Chinese culture and language. I study Economics so I know about how America's money system works and government policy. I want to learn about anything.... everyone has something to say.
