Actually, ABOUT US - Hello there, we're Al & Holly, we live in the Northern California Gold Rush town of Cool, near Auburn, California USA. We speak English, Spanish, some Italian and some French (Je parle du Francais). We are open to reciprocal hospitality exchanges (we host you; you host us).

Long after the memories of great architecture, art, history and beautiful landscapes are forgotten; it is the everlasting memories and friendship of the people we have met that is most precious to us. Meeting and communicating with the people is what travel is all about. Life happens; make time to enjoy it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted couples from Wilhelmshaven, Germany, Cascais, Portugal, and Argentina. We have been hosted by others in Ettington, London, Farnham, England as well as others in Calonge (Girona) Spain.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Raising our daughter to be a caring and loving individual who is educated, independant, self-confidant and a contributing menber of society.

We witnessed the final flight of the British Airways Concorde as it flew over London in October 2003. Quite a historic sight, really!
