CURRENT MISSION

Im a young doctor who wants to see the world with a very very open mind and meet ppl from everywhere..as a long term mission i just want to travel and treat patients everywhere...wish i can do that.....from India to UAE to Australia my life has taken many twists and turns which is quite interesting to share with others and get know about others.

ABOUT ME

might not come out too well describing myself but i think quite a fun to be with....actually i dont bore myself that much so i guess I'm a good company...lol..really really interested in rock music....most of the rock sub-genres i love..but like most the people age got some sense in me and i shifted from mindless head banging as teenager to soft rock,classic,blues and even psychedelic rock...traveling obviously is something i am too fond of....reading novels ,bike drives around the city anywhere,working out,swimming,talking on the phone,net surfing etc are my beloved hobbies..the list is endless though...quite self obsessed too..and pretty honest as its evident by now!

i would like to invite everyone to my couch....i firmly believe that its not only important to travel n see places around,get yourself clicked in front of Eiffels or Tajs or anything but also to know people and the culture around...so i think i can help out people with it and sames what i expect at CS too.....so keep catching up.....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I remember when i was a kid,we had exchange program invitees,from my grandfather from all over Europe...they were all doctors and more than twice my age but was such a great fun interacting with them...i was too fascinated and overwhelmed by them and so i realized i must must have some experience of my own...now i feel so great when i meet people from all over the world and get to know so so much....its just amazing....beyond words....

Interests

In general my ears need music everyday but specifically rock is made completely for my ears....do like lounge and trance too for a change...bit of spiritual music as well as i believe spiritual music brings about calmness in you. Could be hindu spiritual music or a sufi music or buddhist chants, anything for that matter. Working out,swimming,backpacking,novels,writing short biographies, watching documentaries about anything and everything, poems .....lots of them....I'll fill everything if i carry on....

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a taste of all sorts of movies specially the regional movies! Thanks to some of my friends who do theater, i started appreciating art movies and the "not so famous" movies too....but then who doesn't like the mainstream ones! Hollywood, bollywood, iranian, east asian movies- i love all of them. Quite extreme about choices as one one end i would watch documentaries on North Korea (have seen literally everything on NK) and on the other side would jump on watching the Avengers or Madagascar!!! Books...well it really depends on my mood from stupid gossip columns to Das capital if i feel like...Love Leone Uris,Kahlil gibran,William coughlin and some of the Indian writers (initially forced to read by granny!) too...Used to be a good dedicated reader but after medical books came in my life i became a rolling stone with reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) In 2005 i was trapped in floods in mumbai! It was quite a nightmare but still an amazing experience to learn how to live after seeing yourself on the edge....really felt the thin line between life and death that day,hence i started valuing this life much more... :-)

2) 2010 - a bike ride alone on the coast of Queensland and later hitchhack my way through. Mesmerizing!

3) 2012 - crossing the border ON FOOT from malaysia to thailand and refused to bribe the immigration officer and in return being questioned "why are you so fair if you are originally from india" by the immigration officer! Priceless!

4) 2015 - Shanghai - the life changing experience of being in the most hustle bustle city of the world yet discover and see people happy for small little things.Priceless again!

Still learning..
