Art history nerd-ing my way around North America and beyond. I grew up mostly in Vancouver, but have really lived all over for the last while before settling in Toronto (for now).

Headed to Austin, TX in Feb (mostly because I just really want to eat BBQ) and Peru in April.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't done it in a few years, but I had some amazing experiences in France couchsurfing, and actually had some of those people come stay with me when I was back in Van! The exchange of experiences, community, and culture is a vital and unforgettable way to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once ate the freshest, saltiest crab I've ever tasted in Oregon. It came out of the ocean, went straight into the boiling water, then onto the plastic tray, where we devoured it with our hands as we had no utensils. The shell was so soft and light you could just break it with your hands, and we tasted salty for hours after. We ate it while watching the sun set in a camp site right on the beach the Oregon Coast. It sounds simple, but that was pretty damn amazing.
