ABOUT ME

*Hi to everyone! First I have to say this account was originaly mine (Alice). As Philippe and I are together since a long time now, we decided to share it .*

We are Alice and Philippe, a very sociable couple so don't worry, you won't get bored with us even if you are alone! Sometimes, we can really be crazy (especially Alice), we enjoy having fun, playing music, cook a good meal together,... etc.

*We are currently travelling. We left canada last january and have been travelling in Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Netherlands and Belgium. Our next destinations are Sardinia and Sicily ☺ We enjoy meeting locals when we travel and are haply to share our travel experience with them ☺*

Our home is very open to everyone and we like it this way, so really, do not feel shy to ask us something you need, we want you to feel welcome! :)

We are two nature lovers so of course, we enjoy to camp with our friends, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. We also enjoy having a good beer,... there is a nice bar very close by and they have a loads of internationals beers, a pool game and a soccer table.
Alice likes to take care of our hosts, normally, she will make your bed, even if it is 2 am, she will make a breakfast for you... it is her french welcoming side!And if you can play chess she will enjoy playing with you! She is also an oriented artistic lady (painting, music) and love to have deep talks about politics, psychology, spirituality and of course travels!Philippe is the most rationalist, scientist head of us. He loves discover new music all over the world. Also, if you are interested in science, he likes to talk about environmental sciences projects, engineering, jam with his guitar, etc.For the languages skills:Alice is fluent in English, Spanish, French. Philippe is fluent in French, English and almost in Spanish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Alice:
I hitch hiked from Gatineau to Oliver (BC) in 3 days and half (5000 km)
I walked 800 km in one month (Camino de Santiago)
I have been to Machu Picchu and Titicaca lake.

Philippe:
I've been in Madagascar to complete the design and construction of a small windmill generator, in collaboration with a university in Antananarivo, in a village of about 100 inhabitants.

Alice enjoyed to help with translation french-english-spanish on Camino de Santiago.
