About Me
"Travelling- makes you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller."
-Ibn Batutta-
Hola!
My name ist Cora, and I totally got into travelling when I first went to South and Central America in 2012.
During my time in South America I was working in several volunteering projects. In Peru for example, I volunteered in an orphanage and taught children and adults in English and Spanish. More over I worked in a surf hostel on the coast.
The following two years I´ve been in Portugal, Cyprus and in the Baltic States, studied in Spain for 7 months and lived in Budapest for a while :)
Back home I started studying Education in Cologne. I was working with unaccompanied minor refugees until I finished my master degree in peace studies and international politics . I am currently working in a NGO for conflict transformation and in an ethic Institut in Tuebingen.
Good weather always puts me on a good mood, seeing and getting to know new places and people
like to spend my time outdoors together with friends, doing any kind of stuff like sports or just hanging around.
I consider myself as a friendly and open-minded person. So I enjoy meeting new souls and other cultures in unknown places.
I´m looking forward to meet locals from Brasil:)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I, like most people here, am passionate about travel. I'm looking to meet people who seek to visit my region and give them a local's perspective while also relishing the same opportunity when I'm on the road. Let's share some experiences!
In September I start to study in Cádiz, Spain (Erasmus-Exchange). I will study Education- Ciencas de la educación y formación del profesorado.
I´m looking forward to meet locals from Cádiz :)
