Overview
About Me
My new adventure is backpacking South from Mexico, through Central America! So I'll be grateful to find new friends, local advice, and places to stay along the way!
I'm a friendly, easy-going person. I love meeting people and experiencing areas through the eyes of a local. Art, crafts, live music, singing, dancing and all expressions of creativity and joy inspire me.
I've spent a lot of time moving around and living off grid - let's share stories! Nature is important to me and I'm on a mission to find healthier more natural ways to live where we can take care of ourselves, the land, and each other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couchsurfing when I moved to the Netherlands with hopes to meet people and find some places to stay whilst searching for a room. Since then I have made amazing friends with fascinating people and been able to return the favour to a few travellers and friends in need.
Interests
I have a friendly addiction to café trips and can often be found sitting in the sun with a coffee, watching the world go by, sketching, reading a book or having a long catch up with a new or old friend.
I'm generally more cafe than pub, more live gig than club, more deep chat than small talk, more outdoor than inside, more summer than winter.
I love to have a laugh and am social and chatty, whilst also enjoying some me time to practice meditation and enjoy the quiet.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty broad with my genres, I like to keep things varied. From folk and acoustic to classic rock. From romantic comedies to horror. It all has it's place and time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ooft.. Picking one would be unfair!
Hopefully deciding to solo travel Central America will be my 'Amazing thing', but also running a summer school in Amman was a really touching experience, and doing the World Naked Bike Ride Protest in Brighton was a really freeing and thrilling experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach macramé/jewellery making, share my stories and knowledge of living off grid/raising animals/growing crops/caring for land. Plus I can help with practicing English and would really appreciate help with my Spanish!
I am a big believer in discovering and celebrating new cultures so I really hope that wherever I go I can get involved and live as a member and not as a tourist. I hope that through cs and life in general I can meet people who will broaden my horizons and keep me inspired and in love with this life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything above is a two-way street. I want people to be friends not hosts and hope that I can be a fun addition to your home as well as offering support with perfecting your English, cleaning up around the house and whatever else is needed to make a nice living environment - after-all sharing is caring ;)
